Who We Are

Originally established as Northern Indiana Public Service Employees’ Federal Credit Union on August 27, 1935 we offered membership to a group of employees who worked for NIPSCO. In November 2006, we changed our name to Members Source Credit Union and expanded our membership. We now have more than 6,200 members and over $93 million in assets with three branch locations.

Who Can Join

Members Source Credit Union offers a full line of financial products and services to anyone who resides or is employed in the following counties:

Lake County, IN
Porter County, IN
Jasper County, IN
LaPorte County, IN

I've been a customer for years. Anytime I visit I'm greated by helpful staff. They have helped me through loans and regular account transactions. They have great community events and a great kids account. My daughter is a teen now but always loved going in to make her savings deposit and get a gift from the treasure box.

I have a been a member of Members Source Credit for a few years. I started my account with them when they were located in the old St Margaret Hospital in Hammond. I’m happy to be apart of Member Source Credit Union! I was looking for a credit union to open up an account and I came across them read the reviews on the excellent service and decided to stop by the merrillville branch and they did not disappoint. The staff were respectful, knowledgeable and very professional. Their customer service was awesome. Needless to say, I opened up a checking and a savings account.
