We want to make you aware of a potential scam from fraudsters trying to steal debit/credit card account numbers and other sensitive personal information via phone calls. While we are not aware of any MSCU members impacted by this scam, it has come to our attention that other financial institutions have reported members/customers receiving calls from fraudsters. These scammers use technology to fake their caller ID, imitating representatives of that financial institution. Additionally, be cautious of messages left by these scammers asking you to call them back.
MSCU will NEVER call and ask for your debit/credit card number, expiration date, and three-digit security code over the phone. MSCU will also never call and ask for your account number, social security number, or birth date over the phone. We already have this information on file. When in doubt, contact Members Source Credit Union directly.
Please do not provide sensitive information over the phone to unsolicited callers. If you receive a suspicious call or are unsure of the caller's identity, hang up immediately and contact Members Source Credit Union directly at (219) 756-4141 or email us at contactus@ms-cu.com.
